With the sun finally making an appearance and spring in full swing, our lab took the opportunity to enjoy lunch together at Nella Pizza e Pasta.

This get-together was a little extra special – it was nearly a year ago that we had our first ever lab lunch at the very same spot. Since then, the lab has grown, evolved, and tackled more than a few experiments together. Coming back to Nella served as a full-circle moment and a reminder of how far we’ve come – both in our research and as a team. It was also an opportunity to celebrate our amazing graduate students; their hard work, resilience, and contributions to the lab continue to move our research forward.

We’re grateful for the time to slow down, catch up, and enjoy some well-deserved time together! We look forward to more sunny days, continued collaboration, and celebrating the people who make this work so rewarding.
